How it Started

At the beginning of 2025, I finally started cycling, something I had wanted to do for a long time. The decision became clear after my surgery when I realized I needed to improve my fitness. Running was never an option (I absolutely hate it), so cycling was the perfect choice.

Right now, my focus is on endurance, with the goal of riding 100km or longer routes. I don’t yet know exactly how it will affect my racing performance, but I’m confident it will have a positive impact. In the long run, I’d love to compete in cycling races, but for now, it's all about building stamina.

My first ride was a slow and steady 20km in 48 minutes—not the fastest, but it was a start. I’m still fine-tuning my bike setup to fit my preferences, and over the next few months, I’ll be working on improving both my speed and endurance.
