Oschersleben
Oschersleben, A first for the ADAC XC CUP. And it is something different for me, Autocross! So no joker and no asphalt. Which made it harder for me but still had a blast driving here. And a new car! TN05 EVO!
I was participating in 2 different championships, ADAC XC CUP and the Sieben Bergen Pokal (which is the local championship). In both qualifying I qualified P2 behind Jordan Genten (not a surprise), but it was a surprise because all the other guys had already driven here and it was my first time there, so we had pace immediately!
First heats for the ADAC was disappointing I drove P2 the whole heat until the last lap… I crashed but still managed to finish P3. In the SBP I drove and finished from P2.
Second Heat, This was on sunday and everything went from bad to worse… First heat for the ADAC I had much trouble with the conditions and finished P4. In the Sieben Bergen Pokal I was still struggling but remained in P3.
Third Heat, In the ADAC everything went wrong, after a tap on the back I flipped multiple times really destroying my car, but luckily the mechanics managed to fix it before the SBP. In the SBP even though I still had some minor damage I followed P2 closely during the Heat but had no opportunity to overtake finishing P3.
Finals: In the ADAC I had a really bad start which resulted me going to last in the first corner, but I still managed to finish P4 in the Final. In the SBP The same story but finished P3.
Not how we wanted the weekend to end… Even though it was my first time there. But we learned and on to the next one!
Big thanks to all the mechanics including Brayn Ritzen and LifeLive Germany.
